Practical guidance on financial concerns
Money worries have a big impact on well-being. Our financial coaches help employees regain control of their situation.
In brief, confidential conversations, we identify income and expenses, review possible solutions and provide realistic perspective.
The goal is not long-term budget management, but to break through stress, shame and uncertainty around money. This restores peace, space and focus on work.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does BloomUp deal with financial concerns?
Employees can receive an initial triage through matching, early detection or a telephone intake. If this shows a need for financial support, the employee receives a proposal to move on to financial coaching. Therapists, social workers, managers or HR can also request a referral.
After the referral, BloomUp arranges an intake with the financial coach. During this short conversation, the help request and goals are established. Together with the employee, the coach determines the follow-up process, duration and number of sessions.
All steps are only based on the employee's explicit consent. Employers receive only aggregated, anonymous progress data. The average response time for an intake is several days; faster action is taken in cases of urgency.
Financial coaching is provided by social workers combined with clinical psychologists and legal experts to help your employee navigate financial challenges.
Financial coaching is offered as brief, hands-on consultations, usually following the same format as our regular coaching: 30-minute sessions by phone or video call, guided by a social worker. Follow-up hours may be added if necessary.
Yes. The financial coaches are briefed on the various help channels available with the employer and in the EAP+ program. For example, they can bring in a psychologist or lawyer by making a targeted referral to the employee. Or they can share the details of a confidant or someone within HR to start the conversation with the employer.
Yes.
Employer receives aggregate, anonymous reporting on use of financial coaching: numbers of unique users, sessions, theme trends and KPIs visible in the real-time dashboard and in quarterly/annual reports. Individual case information remains strictly confidential.
Financial coaching is standard in BloomUp's EAP+, in all possible plans.
